Internships & Volunteers

You are needed to help make this project a reality. We need you to help us maintain high quality animal care while respecting the environment. Then helping us teach this to Israelis.

Internships and volunteer positions are available to the general public, students from Agriculture Universities and Colleges and High Schools through out American and Israel. Positions include: herd riders, calf care, research assistants and general ranch help. Animal science and environmental research opportunities will be available to Master degree and Ph.D. students. Participates are invited to take part in our Israeli ranch education program with its organization, learning and teaching.

Participates will receive room and board plus a small stipend. Guided tours of Israel will be provided to all participants.

Internships will be coordinated with the school year or those who wish to do longer internships may do so. Internships could be several months, 6 months or even year. If student wishes basic Hebrew language courses would be arranged to allow the student a better understand of life in the country and allowing easier personal travel in Israel.

Internships will start just as soon as the project begins or shortly thereafter. If you are interested please contact Robin at the Israel Longhorn Project.
